Needed a break from commissions and something to cheer me up, so I finally started the fourth pin-up for the boy calendar. Aww yeah, horseback riding English country gentleman. Demm boots won’t be denied.
I need to sleep.

Weird crappy sketch for a weird crappy mood - Hans from Tom Waits’ “Reeperbahn” again. I can’t tell if I love it or hate it. I like the colors and the expression. The anatomy is bizarre even for me and I can’t even begin to tell what the fuck is up with that background. I’ll just tell myself I was channeling Otto Dix as consolation.
More porny doodles. Drawing hairy beefy guys is so much fun.
…Yep. Those guys again. And some other porny doodles. That are related to them, actually.
A little preview of a drawing of the recently featured characters…
Some grotesques for inking practice on that searing yellow paper. I’m kind of in love with how it makes my eyes hurt. Some of these were sketched very lightly with pencil, but mostly it’s all straight ink. I’m especially proud of the owl and the scaled on the fish.
Bought some new ink to play with and quickly discovered this sketchbook is way too absorbent for ink, so I just stuck to my usual pens and a bit of watercolor while drawing some gents. I also accidentally Basil Hallwarded all over the boy on the bottom right.
I started thinking about Miles because of that gif I posted, so I had to draw my baby.
Tiny things I’m working on as stress relief.
A lazy picture of Jon “Wah wah I’m a bastard” Snow. I’ll post something decent soon.
After much encouragement, recommendation and urging from friends, I finally and very belatedly decided to jump on the band wagon and give Game of Thrones a chance. I haven’t seen the show, and I’m only 90 pages into the book, and I am already loving the biggest little shithead the cast of characters has to offer. So here’s a little doodle of Prince Joffrey I did during my lunch break at work.
Illustration for a Baritarian fairy tale. I drew the picture first, and then Lawrence made up a wonderful story about it. I don’t want to tell it yet, though, because I would like to make it into a comic.
Ravens in Van Dyke collars and devils in ruffs. I have been having blissful lunches in the park, drinking tea and doodling relaxing things next to a carousel that cranks out Edith Piaf. That raven is probably some sort of pedantic department manager in hell.
