I can’t believe I went to NYCC and completely forgot to mention the update on the Queer Erotic Comics Anthology! The babes putting it together are hard at work and it looks like the release is coming in spring 2013. So when I started this project, I thought it would be pretty great to look up all that porn for pose references. And then I had to look into Edwardian serving dishes. Jfc toast racks.
I’ve got panels of boners and butts, and yet I find this one to be one of the most erotic.
Kissing is near impossible to draw, but my friends have been enthusiastically volunteering as models and research partners. I have the best friends.
Still sick and gross, but I’m onto page 3! Going to pass out now.
I’m sick as a dog and have resorted to simply chugging honey straight, but I’m still making myself work on Gentleman’s Gentleman.
I say “research,” but what I really mean is “excuse to procrastinate.”
And speaking of which, here’s a little doodle of the gentleman in Gentleman’s Gentleman - the erotic comic I’ll be starting work on soon. It will be collected in the Queer Erotic Comics anthology in mid-September. I won’t be posting the completed pages here, obviously, but I’ll post teasers and updates as I make progress.

Since I only have four more illustrations to go for the novel project, I rewarded myself by doing more work! I finally sorted out the appearance of my two characters for Gentleman’s Gentleman, the erotic comic I am going to contribute to the Queer Erotic Anthology project. Is the title giving away too much? Shhh. And ignore my stupid messy notes.
