Illustration for Chapter 16 of G.D. Falksen’s first book in The Ouroboros CycleA Monster’s Coming of Age Story. This one was one of my favorites to do, not in the least because of the Victorian medical paraphernalia.

In the next few days I’m going to post a select few illustrations I did for G.D. Falksen’s first book in The Ouroboros Cycle last year. If you’d like to see them all, as well as the illustrations of my husband, Lawrence Gullo, do pick up your own copy!

This is the illustration for Chapter 1.

Here is the cover preview of my next novel The Ouroboros Cycle, Book One: A Monster’s Coming Of Age Story, which is coming this fall. It’s a story of adventure, romance, revenge, and vampires. The book is fully illustrated by two of the most incredible artists I have ever seen, so be sure to check it out this fall.

So far I’ve only posted little hints and teasers of my work for this book, but here’s the cover featuring one of my illustrations in full!

I AM DONE. I finished my share of the Ouroboros illustrations today! So here’s one last teaser. Look for the book in the fall and follow the author’s blog (linked above) for updates!

And now, Gentleman’s Gentleman. But first, I collapse.

Last one!! Almost finished! Dear god.

G.D. Falksen’s Ouroboros novel. I’m going to draw so much stupid shit after I’m done with this. Except, oops, no, comic deadline after that. Sob.

Teaser for Falksen’s Ouroboros novel. The morally ambiguous Georgians are my favorite.

Yeaah, evil Georgian ladies! Holy crap, I’m two thirds done with my Ouroboros illustrations! I was looking over the subject lines of my e-mails to the author, G. D. Falksen, and realizing that they sound like a chronicle of my descent into madness.

Things I hate: drawing horses. Things I hate even more: drawing people riding horses. No My Little Ponies were harmed in the making of this Ouroboros illustration for G.D. Falksen.

Ahahaha, sob. Plowing on through G.D. Falksen’s Ouroboros illustrations. My drawing callouses have drawing callouses. On the bright side, phrenology bust. I don’t care that by 1840 it was regarded as a bullshit science, ok! Sherlock Holmes even took interest in it.

The roughest of rough sketches for the next Ouroboros illustration, and I already think it’s my favorite yet. Women reading, I’m telling you. Unf. And now you can all see how very little sense my pencil sketches make, even to me.
