I’ve been busy working on something fancy I’m hoping to post very soon, but this job has left me with no time to doodle and post something here. And then I got to thinking about books and my beloved Remarque, so here’s an oldie but a goodie. Waugh, Remarque and Fitzgerald.
I started thinking about Miles because of that gif I posted, so I had to draw my baby.
Just a few of my most beloved 20th century authors - Evelyn Waugh, Erich Maria Remarque and of course F. Scott Fitzgerald. Finished this page at a bookstore’s cafe - yes, I am that much of a prat, apparently.
F. Scott is obviously gorgeous, but I can’t be the only one who thinks Remarque is just… hhnnghh. Right?
Naughty salts, child! Miles Malpractice is the only way to break in a new sketchbook. This one is somewhere between the film version and what’s in my head (though, really, Michael Sheen is flawless in every way).
