Cherry Pie. Having watched “Fearless” - which L. has theorized is basically about drug use - I am thinking that in her street fighting days she was addicted to the booster, and Max helped her quit. They may have dated or at least slept together, but now they are just like brother and sister. She really loves sensitive artistic boys.
Ok… back to actual work now. My friends’ reactions to these recent drawings have been adorable - “We love your classy old-timey stuff, but this is awesome!” Thanks, enablers. Though honestly, drawing things this far out of my usual comfort zone is so relaxing and refreshing. Helps me stay sane through the last push of the Ouroboros illustrations (just two more!).
