I’m still working through my Reichenbach feels… I had this whole theory about how the startling red stitching of the buttonhole of Sherlock’s coat lapel was a symbol for his heart after the last episode of season 1 (“I will burn the heart out of you,” the sniper target lasers, his relationship with John, etc., etc.), but then I realized I am an idiot and just didn’t notice it in the first season. Oh well. It still works, but it’s not a new visual development.
